Public Aid For A Suffering Industry

As you know, this fall is warmer than typical in the US, and several recent winters have been quite mild. Much has been made of the plight of the American farmer with seasonal weather losses, but other industries are also affected.

Currently, GAS COMPANIES nationwide are suffering from slow sales and service volume. This affects a huge number of stockholders, executives and managers, plus those in marketing and production. Clearly, the economy would take a drastic blow, and our society suffer should these companies find themselves bankrupt.

Obviously, a government program will provide stability for this industry when the weather is unseasonably warm, allowing gas companies to plan and operate unrestricted for the benefit of the nation.

I'm sure you all support this idea.
